First will be my Victoria's Secret "Take Me To The Beach" tote. It fits all my beach items in there and as a mom it fits all the snacks, extra clothing, toys, and drinks for my my two little mermaids. It's made out of a durable material and it's a perfect tote for the beach. I mean, it has "BEACH" written all over it. This item was on one of their giveaway items where you spend $75 and get a free tote. Best tote I ever got. I have several more but this is my all time favorite.
Second would be my Victoria's Secret bikini. (Not pictured) I love all their swimsuits and how they fit. I usually have problems finding a swimsuit that I feel comfortable in but all the ones in Victoria's Secret are super cute, fit perfect, and makes me feel like a mermaid.
Third would be my sunblock and after sun. I love using Hawaiian Tropic's shimmer sunblock and shimmer after sun lotion. They both have worked wonders on me. I've gotten my fair share of sunburns and the after sun lotion helps a lot. I just use the lotion and a little bit of coconut oil or their tanning oil (without spf) and leave it over night and the next morning the redness is either gone or has gone down significantly. Their tanning oils have tons of natural oils in it such as mineral oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, etc. All these oils help nourish your skin and helps heal it faster after a sunburn. For my babies I like using Banana Boat as they have a kids line and a higher SPF. You know how kids get sandy and rub off all the lotion and never want to reapply. Well with Banana Boat I never have to worry about reapplying which is great. They get to play and get dirty and I am worry free and no more sleepless nights.
Third would be water. How can you go to the beach without water. I love Dasani water or Fiji water. With kids I take the cheaper route and go with Dasani. I love it. It tastes so refreshing to me, especially on a hot sunny day.
My fourth favorite would be my Sand Cloud towel. I love my pocket towel from Sand Cloud. The material is soft and the sand doesn't get stuck to it. I know I always hated picking up the towels and shaking them over and over again and still getting sand everywhere. Well with these Turkish towels from Sand Cloud I don't have that issue. Not just that but they're super cute and lightweight. I wear mine's as a skirt tied around my waste when I'm heading back home. The best part though about Sand Cloud is that they donate 10% of their net profits to preserving marine life. They donate funds to Oceana, Surfriders, and several other foundations to help marine animals have a safe home. As a Sand Cloud ambassador you will be hearing more about Sand Cloud on my upcoming blog posts.
Next is my pink Jansport fanny pack. I know it sounds funny but when beach combing it's a must have for any sea glass collector that's fighting the waves and the rocks and constantly digging through the sand to find all their pieces. Beats carrying a Ziploc bag any day or trying to hold them all in one hand.
As a jewelry designer, jewelry would be my next beach essential. I usually wear some sea glass studs that I made and a sea glass necklace along with handmade bracelets from Wanderlust and Zeal, Hemp Love Jewelry, and Pura Vida Bracelets. I also wear my wedding rings at all times that come from Kay Jewelers.
And last but not least... Make up and hair accessories. I usually use the black waterproof eyeliner from Avon and waterproof lashblast volume mascara from Covergirl along with a scrunchy from Goodies the thick ouchless ones. Sometimes I will add a seashell or sea glass hair pin that I made (available at Anabella's Jewelry.)
